NMRA AP Master Builder - Scenery Awarded

Last evening the PRR Middle Division was visited by Robert Charles, Alan Mende, and Brian Kampschroer of the NMRA-MER-Susquehanna Division.

Serving as merit award judges, the three evaluated my submission of the Mann's Narrows section of the model railroad toward the requirements of the NMRA Achievement Program (AP) Master Builder - Scenery certificate.

A Day in "Training"

Today is a trifecta of railroading...

Started out the day at the annual train show of the Harrisburg Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (NRHS). Not a great show, but a good excuse to get out and see friends.

Tonight is an op session on Bob Martin's Central Pennsylvania Railroad. Based on a conversation earlier in the day, I think I will probably be in the dispatcher's seat.

Off to the Timonium Show...

Headed to Timonium, Md., for the quarterly Great Scale Model Train Show put on by Howard Zane & friends. Shopping list is short this trip, but its never a bad time -- and some of the best venue food out there!
