Funaro & Camerlengo has released the PRR G22/G22b gondola as a resin one-piece body kit. The car was previously released as a flat kit by Westerfield, but has long been out of production.
The G22's were build between 1915-1916 and were 48' long with steel floors. The G22B's were 1930 rebuilds which featured heavier trucks.
In 1954 there were still over 4,800 G22 on the Pennsy roster, enough to be the predominant gondola, ahead of the G31A. There were still several hundred G22B and a few G22A remaining.
