NMRA AP Master Builder - Scenery Awarded

Last evening the PRR Middle Division was visited by Robert Charles, Alan Mende, and Brian Kampschroer of the NMRA-MER-Susquehanna Division.

Serving as merit award judges, the three evaluated my submission of the Mann's Narrows section of the model railroad toward the requirements of the NMRA Achievement Program (AP) Master Builder - Scenery certificate.

After evaluating that I met all of the requirements for the certificate, the scene was officially judged. A merit award of 87.5 points of a possible 125 points are required. The scene earned a score of 108, much to my delight. Bob, the division's AP chair, thinks it may be the highest Scenery score they have ever judged!

This is my first earned AP certificate. There are 11 certificates available. Upon award of a seventh certificate, the title of Master Model Railroader (MMR) is earned.

Two relics of my N scale days were also reviewed -- My Sherman's Creek bridge towards the Master Builder - Structures certificate and my F30D TrucTrain flat car towards the Master Builder - Cars certificate.
