As previously announced, the Pennsylvania Railroad Middle Division in HO Scale will host an open house in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Pennsylvania Railroad Technical & Historical Society (PRRT&HS) next week.
While the room and layout is clean, I thought I'd share a few pics.
The main line, on the main level, is operational, save for some frog power wiring and more quality control testing. The lead photo has an H10 consolidation heading up a stock and reefer train, west bound on track three crossing the eight-arch Granville Bridge.
The Milroy Secondary is also operational, with a hidden connection to create a loop for open houses. Below is a shot of Yeagertown, with the leads into the Standard Steel plant.
The following view shows the 20 track staging yard on the main line (bottom level), the framing to support the Lewistown Secondary -- which is largely single track and all scenery will be liftouts for access to staging -- and Milroy on the the Milroy Secondary (top level).
The following view shows Mann's Narrows (top) and Lewistown Station (below).
The following view shows Yeagertown on the Milroy Secondary (top) and Lewistown Junction (below).
A vew eastward at Lewistown, with a mail train headed west on track four in front of the station.
