PRRT&HS: Chicago Terminal Chapter Meeting Slated

The Chicago Terminal Chapter of the PRRT&HS will hold its first meeting of 2017 on Saturday, January 21 between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM at the Pullman Visitor’s Center, 11141 S. Cottage Grove Avenue, Chicago Illinois.

Bob Fredland is having his negatives scanned and digitized into a form suitable for use in presentations. Bob will give a presentation of his converted negatives taken during the middle 1950s and early 1960s focusing on the railroad in the Chicago area.

While desirable, membership in the PRRT&HS is not required for attendance at our local meetings. Moreover, while donations are always welcome, there is no admission charge, nor any “arm-twisting” for a donation. Typical attendees consist of a mixture of ex-railroaders, model railroaders, and those interested in the operation and history of the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Anyone interested in learning about the Pennsylvania Railroad is invited to attend.

The Chapter needs presentations for the upcoming meetings to be held in 2017 on April 22, July 22, and October 21. If you or someone else will be in the Chicago area on these dates, has something to share about the Railroad, and would like to present the information at one of these meetings, please contact me directly at This email address is being protected from spambots.
